The ‘Flying Foil’ Superyacht called Plectrum
Introducing Plectrum, the world’s largest foiling superyacht devised by Italian designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini. Three hydrogen-powered motors power Plectrum. Each motor generates 5,000 horsepower, for a total of 15,000 horsepower. This gives Plectrum the power to lift itself above the water surface, reducing drag and allowing it to travel faster.
The foiling system works by using the motors to drive the yacht’s hull through the water. As the hull moves through the water, it creates lift, which causes the yacht to rise up. The higher the yacht rises, the less drag it experiences, which allows it to travel faster.

The rear garage can also accommodate water toys and a car.
