PROJECT X: A Dream Come True for Yacht Lovers

PROJECT XPROJECT X

Project X is an 87.6-meter motor yacht built by Golden Yachts in 2022. She is the second-largest yacht built by Golden Yachts after the 95-meter O’Pari. She is powered by two Caterpillar diesel engines that give her a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots. She has a range of 5,500 nautical miles.

Project X was designed by Ken Freivokh Design and features exterior styling characterised by cascading decks, a large open aft deck with a swimming pool, and a unique column-shaped ‘X’ structure amidships that hides an internal three-deck atrium.

Ken Freivokh Design is a British yacht design studio that has been designing yachts since 1977. They have a reputation for creating vessels that are both stylish and innovative. Their designs are often inspired by nature, and they use a variety of materials, including wood, steel, and glass.

  • Maltese Falcon: This 88-meter sailing yacht was launched in 2006 and is one of the world’s most innovative and technologically advanced yachts. She features a DynaRig sail plan that allows her to sail faster and more efficiently than traditional sailing yachts.

  •  55M Quite Essential: This 55-meter motor yacht was launched in 2018 and is a luxurious and stylish yacht. She features a contemporary design equipped with the latest technology and amenities.

Project X interior design

The interior of Project X was designed by Massari Design and features a luxurious and sophisticated style. The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in 9 staterooms and has a crew of 25.

  • A glass-walled swimming pool on the main deck aft
  • A private owner’s deck jacuzzi
  • A spa pool that looks out over the sundeck and can seat ten
  •  A marble table on the upper deck dining area that accommodates 18 guests
  •  A fully equipped beauty salon

  • Underwater lights
  • A beach club

Massari Design is an Italian yacht design studio that has worked on a variety of yachts, including:

  • Forever One: This 110-meter motor yacht was launched in 2020 and is one of the most luxurious yachts in the world. She features a sleek and contemporary design and is equipped with the latest technology and amenities.
  • 60M O’Eva: This 60-meter motor yacht was launched in 2019 and is known for its innovative design. She features a “floating” main deck cantilevered over the water, and she has a glass-bottomed swimming pool allowing guests to view the underwater world.
  • 59M Galkynys: This 59-meter motor yacht was launched in 2007 and is known for its aggressive design. She features a sharp bow and a sloping superstructure and is equipped with a helipad, swimming pool, and spa.

At the time of writing, Project X is currently for sale at an asking price of €160 million. A price tag that may be a little too rich for most super yacht fans, but she makes a desirable yacht for the super-rich for a variety of reasons. She is stylish, luxurious, technologically advanced, and versatile. She is the perfect yacht for those looking for the ultimate yachting experience.
