The superstar singer Beyonce is currently in the Mediterranean where she’s been celebrating her 40th birthday along with family and friend’s onboard superyacht Flying Fox, according to various social media posts and pictures posted on Instagram.
The American singer and songwriter, who turned 40 this past Saturday, posted pictures on Instagram and according to Elle magazine she was on a yacht in Capri. From Marine Traffic vessel tracking, it is confirmed Flying Fox was moored just off Capri.
Her love for yachts was unveiled a couple of years ago when the couple chartered $1.3 million/week yacht Kismet.
Last year, Beyonce was at it again when she, along with her husband Jay-Z and their three kids, chartered one of Imperial Yachts most exclusive yachts 107m Lana for her 39th birthday. Being one of the most sought after superyachts to hit the market last year, the charter itself came to a cost of $2 million per week.
This time around, the couple has decided to take their yacht-game to another level.
The 446’2 / 136m Custom motor yacht ‘Flying Fox’ was built in 2019 by Lurssen and will set you back $3.5 million for the week and is available to charter from Imperial Yachts.
Flying Fox’s interior layout can accommodate for up to 25 guests in 11 rooms, including a master suite, 10 VIP staterooms. In addition to the guests, she is also capable of carrying up to 55 crew members onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.
Some of the standout features include bar area with a two-story saloon, a wooden fireplace, a huge dining table with enough room for every guest and a movie theatre with state-of-the-art A/V capabilities.
The boat’s self-proclaimed “curvy and extraordinary” exterior, designed by industry legend Espen Øino, features a 39-foot swimming pool, an extra-wide swim platform, beach club, on-deck jacuzzi and sundeck, as well as a beauty salon and barbecue area.
The yacht also boasts a 13,000-square-foot spa that offers a hammam, sauna, massage area and a gym. And to top it off, two helipads – because you never know how you might want fly in for your 40th birthday.
