Bill Gates’ 66th birthday celebrations: Bill Gates, the multi-billionaire and founder of Microsoft, celebrated his 66th birthday with Jeff Bezos in Turkey on Friday onboard one of the most exclusive yachts in the world, Lana. The management of the charter was made possible through the Monaco based yacht company Imperial Yachts.
At Gates’ party in Fethiye beside the Mediterranean, Bezos was among 50 guests invited. No family members attended Gates’ exclusive bash, as far as we know.
Gates – once the richest man on earth who has dropped to fourth on the Forbes Rich List ranking with $124 billion – transported his guests by helicopter from his $2million-a-week rental yacht ‘Lana’ to the Sea Me Beach club in Fethiye.
As workers at the party were forbidden from using their phones, attendees of the four-hour bash were assured of their privacy in the luxurious and private resort.
According to reports, Gates treated his guests to local seafood, sushi, pizza, and lots of champagne on his birthday, which is on October 28.
Last week, Microsoft founder Bill Gates visited Bodrum, a popular town about four hours from Fethiye.
