Feadship’s first Hybrid Model: Savannah

Savannah Superyacht

The Savannah is the 2015 Feadship’s first hybrid model superyacht and is one of the most innovative and eco-friendly yachts on the water.

She was the first hybrid yacht ever built by Feadship, and her propulsion system combines a single diesel engine, three diesel-electric generators, and a battery pack. This allows her to achieve a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots while also reducing fuel consumption by up to 30%.

Following her launch in 2015, Feadship’s first hybrid model; the Savannah went on to win these notable awards:

  • World Superyacht Award 2016 – Motoryacht of the Year
  • World Superyacht Award 2016 – Best Displacement Motor Yacht from 1,300GT to 2,999GT
  • Showboat Design Award for Best Exterior
  • ISS Award for Best Power Yacht over 65 meters

The superyacht is also noted for its modern exterior design. Her hull is made of steel, and her superstructure is made of aluminium. The exterior is characterised by its sleek and elegant lines. The hull is painted a metallic silver, which gives the yacht a modern and sophisticated look.

The superstructure is made of white fibreglass, contrasting with the hull and creating a sense of lightness. The windows are large and provide plenty of natural light to the interior. The exterior of Savannah is a stunning example of modern yacht design. It is both elegant and innovative, and it has helped to set a new standard for superyachts.
