Ferretti Yachts are at the forefront of luxury yacht design but have pushed the bar even higher by introducing its new upper deck transformation. The Ferretti Skydeck has a uniquely designed upper deck that transforms into an exclusive indoor area providing year-round protection from the elements. This year the luxury yacht brand introduced its Skydeck edition of the Ferretti Yachts 1000 flagship design. The Skydeck edition features an upper deck that has been extensively redesigned to create an enclosed space for year-round enjoyment, but with features that allow guests to feel like they are outside touching the sky. Planned for launch in June 2023, the Skydeck edition will have its official debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2023. The yacht perfectly showcases the brand’s high standard of luxury, comfort and craftsmanship but combined with an effortless, timeless style.

Stand out features

Ferretti Yachts 1000 Skydeck showcases an innovative new design created through a collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, architect Filippo Salvetti (exterior styling) and Ideaeitalia (interior design). The main feature of the luxury yacht edition is the redesign of the upper deck to include full glazing that directly connects to the aft terrace through a floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door. This redesign has resulted in a second lounge created for guests to enjoy all year round, no matter the weather or season. The décor features warm wood hues and elegant, more relaxed, delicate tones to create a light-filled deck area that owners and guests can use as a comfortable living space. The hard top contains shutter slats that can be opened on warmer days to allow for fresh air and natural ventilation. Air conditioning installation is also an option to help keep guests even more comfortable.

Multiple deck access

The new Skydeck design includes a staircase from the bridge, giving guests indoor access to the Skydeck. The deck can also be reached from outside using a connecting staircase from the cockpit and via a side door from the bow area. The Skydeck edition also holds a stylish outdoor terrace with a bar and bar stools for elegant relaxing. The stern area offers flexible options where owners can choose to fit it out with their own taste in comfortable, free-standing furniture to make the area meet their needs. The Skydeck version of Ferretti Yachts 1000 offers a lot of versatility that can be adapted to suit all markets. The brand offers a choice of interior design solutions that can be adapted to meet owners different requirements.

The new deck redesign offers a sheltered and intimate space but doesn’t make owners and guests feel hemmed in.
