A 77-meter superyacht concept Theia, created by UK design studio D-iD, has seen the day of light.
The construction of Theia, named after the Greek goddess of light, includes extensive glass used on the windows and exterior surfaces. This interconnects the inside and outside worlds while flooding the interior with natural light, the studio said.
In addition to the bold curve at the rear of the superstructure, the exterior design presents “crisp, clean lines”.
A multitude of social spaces is available on Theia’s five decks for entertaining friends and family, including a Jacuzzi located on the sundeck, as well as seating on the below-bridge deck which doubles as a helipad.
There is a large owner’s stateroom below on the dedicated owner’s deck. The master suite includes two dressing rooms and two bathrooms, as well as an office and saloon. In addition to the private outdoor areas, the deck also hosts a rear terrace with seating and a bar.
There are two VIP cabins underneath the main deck as well as a dining room with full beams that can seat 14 guests as well as a saloon with an outside bar. This is perfectly set up for the swimming platform directly below the swimming pool aft, which is surrounded by sunbeds.
Guests are also accommodated on the lower deck in two other guest cabins and a twin room, as well as a spa area that includes a Jacuzzi, hammam, massage room, sauna, and gym. All in all, there are 12 passengers and 18 crew aboard the ship.
When it comes to technicalities, this yacht offers top speeds of 16.5 knots and ranges of 5,000 nautical miles at 12.5 knots with either conventional or hybrid propulsion.
