Let’s dive in!
Nobiskrug takeover completed
It seems as though the Nobiskrug insolvency is finally about the reach the light at the end of the tunnel after Lars Windhorst, owner of the Tennor Group, owner of Nobiskrug and Flensburg Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (FSG), has taken over the shipyard.
As a result, the Tennor Group companies will now operate from their own offices, operating under one administration.
As a group, we intend to share skills and knowledge from each division, and professionals from Merchant and Naval FSG will be able to access the specialists in Superyacht FSG. Their 645 employees are expected to collaborate across the three campuses in the areas of design, purchasing, and administration.
Lars Windhorst comments “Nobiskrug and its employees ideally complement our strategy in the shipbuilding industry. Our strategic goal is to achieve relevant market shares in both of these significant markets and at the same time develop innovation.”
Nobiskrug has been regarded as one of the most innovative companies in the industry for years, and the finalization of the deal is an exciting milestone for the industry.

Rafa Nadal’s Sunreef 80 yacht ‘Great White’ will attend the Monaco Yacht Show 2021
Great White, the Sunreef 80 power catamaran owned by Rafael Nadal, will be featured exclusively at the Monaco Yacht Show this year, Sunreef Yachts said.
Alongside the yacht, there will be the Sunreef 80 sailing catamaran Double Happiness at the biggest yachting event of the year. It follows the delivery of the catamaran in June 2020 to the Spanish tennis star in his home town of Mallorca.
In his previous remarks, Sunreef founder and president Francis Lapp called the event “a truly unforgettable experience”.
Lapp continues “My team in Gdańsk made every effort to create the yacht Rafa and his wife Maria dreamed of. I am convinced that they will have a great time with their friends and family on board.”
In addition to stainless steel portlights, high bulwarks, and subtle ambient lighting, the yacht also includes a superyacht tender garage that accommodates not just a tender but also a jet ski and numerous other water toys as well.
