A 44-meter model has been added to Wider and Pajot Custom Yachts’ evolving line of eco catamaran sailing catamarans.
145 Eco Yacht follows the 35.1-metre Pajot 115 Eco Yacht catamaran, which was well received by the market, according to the builder.
Project partner Wider will build the 145 version in aluminum and carbon, which will have more deck space, volume, and performance than the Pajot 115 Eco Yacht.
The interior will also be able to be customized, with options regarding galley and helm positions.
The catamarans will have hybrid power configurations, which Wider will construct at its shipyard in Ancona.
Marc Pajot had this to say about the new model: “The synergy with what I have been developing with our Eco catamaran and the superyachts produced by Wider is exceptional.
“Adding leading edge hybrid power-train technology developed by Wider and their specialist technical partners and suppliers has created a unique yachting opportunity and experience.”
Marcella Maggi, chief executive officer at Wider, continued: “I am personally very excited about our partnership with Marc Pajot and his exceptionally talented team. Together we will build some spectacular Eco hybrid catamarans, setting a new benchmark on the oceans.”
